For more than 30 years, I built a career in the tech industry. As the years passed, I found myself needing a creative outlet—something that brought balance and perspective outside of my day job.

Over the last decade, the outdoors became that escape. Long-distance running, trekking, and golfing filled my spare time, and a trek to Everest Base Camp in 2019 became one of the defining adventures of my life. Not long after, a severe back injury forced me to slow down. Recovery took years, and it closed the door on long-distance running and the backpacking challenges I once loved.

But that loss opened another path.

I turned to photography, and it quickly became my new passion. Today, I spend every spare moment behind the lens—capturing wildlife, exploring cities during my travels, and seeking out the special moments and quiet stories that unfold all around us. Photography gives me the same sense of connection and exploration I once found on the trails, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to see the world through a new perspective.
